Tuesday Night with Harlow Tea Co 3

Tonight I was in the mood for a shaken iced tea so I grabbed Say Aloha and Get Toasted from Harlow Tea Co.  Every blend that I have had from Harlow Tea Co has been incredibly fresh and impressive. I had no doubt that I would adore these two blends.

Say Aloha is a lovely blend of Houjicha green tea, hibiscus flower, myrtle leaf, strawberry leaf, dried strawberries, dried pineapple, dried plums, and cinnamon dried apples. This tea has my name all over it.  (pic on the left)

Get Toasted is a unique mix of Genmaicha tea (contains brown rice), candied pineapple, elder flower, toasted coconut, and tulsi leaves. Another blend that just screams my name.  (pic on the right)

To make shaken iced tea, all you have to do is prep your tea up like you normally would. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, pour in the fresh brewed tea, and shake. After a few moments, pour the shaken ice tea into a glass filled with ice. You have yourself a lovely shaken iced tea that is worthy of a coffee house!

So what were my thoughts?

Say Aloha as an iced tea is one of the best iced teas I’ve ever had.  Gorgeous green tea notes swirled with a hint of berry and a dash of a cinnamon candied apple.  Really well done and perfect as a refreshing iced tea on a summer day.

As delicious as Say Aloha was, Get Toasted was my favorite of the two. Sweet coconut notes with that familiar roasted rice flavor combined with candied tropical notes of pineapple.  Absolutely divine, refreshing, and exactly what I needed to end my evening.

All in all, I’m crazy about Harlow Tea Co and have a few more teas to try from them. Just adore them and so glad I stumbled upon them.  I see a pretty big order with them in my future for sure!

~Until Next Time~
