Recently I was nominated for an award by dePepi. This award is the Random Acts of Fandom- an award created to pay it forward in a way.
The rules are simple:
- Do a kind act of fandom for a fellow blogger who needs a push, who might feel down or need some help.
- Nominate (invite) three other fellow bloggers to do a random act of fandom for a fellow blogger of their choosing. Please say the reasons why you nominate them.
- Link to this post/blog and use the banner of Random Acts of Fandom. If you feel creative, you can also create your own banner for Random Acts of Fandom, but remember to link dePepi.com as the origin of the virus.
- Write these rules on your post.
- Mention who nominated you.
- Remember to contact your Nominees and the blogger you’re surprising with a Random Act of Fandom.
But I decided that I just didn’t want to do this once, I wanted to create a giveaway around this Random Act of Fandom. More info on that below.
For my first Random Act of Fandom, I want to pay back the originator of this award. So Pepi. . .These will be showing up at your door step. .for starting this great pay it forward award and for making me smile on a daily basis. I hope you like them! (Yes, those are Loki earrings)
Next month I will be taking this award from being a Random Act of Fandom to a Random Act of Tea-dom where I will be treating a few of my favorite peeps/bloggers to celebrate The Great Pumpkin. All I will say is that Geeky Teas is involved.
I will also giveaway one of these special treats to a lucky winner so please sign up below. This is my first giveaway and I’m quite excited about it!
a Rafflecopter giveaway
So technically I’m not nominating anybody but am spreading the love to others. In the future to qualify for the giveaway I many incorporate that, but for now I I hope you all enjoy this fun new series on CuppaGeek!
The scariest movie to me was the first A Nightmare on Elm Street. I had nightmares for weeks after watching that as a kid. Johnny Depp, nooooo!
That movie had me petrified to close my eyes at night for weeks!
For a long time I thought Poltergeist was the scariest movie EVER! Clown dolls ;_; Another really scary one is The Poughkeepsie Tapes! Probably the only movie I’ll never watch again, lol.
That is one movie I haven’t seen yet- The Poughkeepsie Tapes. I’ve heard good things about it. I need to check that one out too.Poltergeist was one that scared me when I was a kid and it was all because of that Clown Doll!
Hooray! Awesome first giveaway .The scariest movie I’ve ever seen is The Exorcist .
That is actually one movie that didn’t scare me. I think because at that point I had seen so many I had become desensitized.
I’m an avid horror/thriller movie fan, so choosing the scariest movie ever is difficult, it’s like choosing a favorite child. :p One that really got into me, though, was Necromentia, as it was scary on many levels.
As for favorite Fandom, it’s Tolkien Fandom.
That is one movie I haven’t seen yet. I know when people ask me all the time what the scariest movie I’ve seen is, it is hard. I usually say Stepford Wives. The idea behind that movie is terrifying!
LOVE this 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
I remember first watching The Ring in theatres when I was a teen and it scared me so badly! I could no longer hear the white TV noise without freaking out haha. But I do love horror. I just love that feeling of being scared!
This sounds like so much fun!!!! I hope I win!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
