Blackberry Breeze is one of Do You Tea’s signature blends. I’ve been impressed with a few of their teas in the past so I have high expectations for this one.

~Thoughts. . . .
This tea is chock- full of yerba mate and blackberry leaf. Quite a striking loose leaf. Almost looks like a trail mix with raisins and sunflower seeds.
I do love how Do You Tea packages their sample tins and overall presentation. From the dry leaves, I didn’t really pick up any distinct aromas or fragrances. All I really could smell was the yerba mate, which makes sense. That is the main ingredient in this tea blend.
This tea didn’t quite measure up to what I was hoping for. The tea had such a nice grassy flavor from the yerba mate but that was about it. I didn’t pick up the blackberries and the spearmint was just ever so slight. The major flavor that I picked up was the yerba mate one. I was hoping for more blackberry. What I did really enjoy from this tea was the lovely honey notes that were present from the very beginning of each sip. It reminded me of what green rooibos tastes like. But beyond that, the tea sort of seemed flat to me. I want to try cold brewing this one to see if I can get the flavors to pop a bit more and give me the flavor I am searching for.
I can’t say this would be one that I’d need to have again but I’m glad I was able to try it. Every tea can’t be your cuppa and I’ve had several from Do You Tea that I really enjoyed.
Sipdown #32! Off to the next cuppa!
